If the NPC's have Disadvantage, the GM rolls three dice and picks worst two results. So: GM chooses a difficulty, if a player has Advantage, they roll three dice and pick best two results. There is moderately less crunch, as +/- modifiers are replaced by 'Advantage' and Disadvantage' (rolling dice and taking the two best or two worst results), and a GM utilizing the Difficulty Chart.
